Continuing. Got a clear view at 4pm closer to the original sighting (37.7405161, -122.4609461) then it flew into the bushes above the wall at (37.7404724, -122.4612800). Bright yellow underneath, blue gray above with no wing bars. Pale eye ring and black streaked neck. Saw it again there at 4:30 and then it flew into the yard of the corner house. Frustrating sighting for a lifer but certainly clear enough views to ID. Got a really terrible photo, not entirely sure it was the same bird in the photo as it was a silhouette but after bumping up exposure it does seem to be yellow below and dark on the wings with some dark around the neck, so possibly the photo is the same bird.
