Nonbreeding-plumaged adult, sitting on the water near the islands, about here: (45.7077353, -120.7136777). Medium-small gull with blackish smudge on side of rear portion of head, pure horn-yellow bill, gray mantle, black primary tips. Photos and video. Not associating with any other gulls, and not seen in flight. This might actually be the earliest eBird record of this species for an inland region of Oregon.
