Steve found this exhausted migrant in a vulnerable position sitting on a cement hallway railing in direct sunlight. It was on the 4th floor overlooking the northeast steps in back of the hotel. I gave it a little water and brought it to a part of the grounds where it could recover in the shade. I picked a small succulent with a shrub in the shade but away from edges to be be safe from the dozen or so prowling cats we saw around the grounds and east of the hotel in the morning. I went to check on it a few minutes later and as soon as I made I contact with it, it hopped up and away out of my view. It looked energetic, refreshed, and ready to feed! Nice work S & C!!
