Four of the six birds observed today were sitting on a power transmission line in the wash near the Loop. Serendipitous recording of their calls. Not sure I've ever recorded the 'snarl' call (Pieplow's term.). Not sure of how many of the birds were actually calling, but here appeared to be one male, and three female-plumaged individuals perched. Trimmed, HP filtered, and normalized.
