2 Flying/possibly being chased? by large flock of mixed swallows over S end of Dike. Calling profusely. Larger than other swallows, light mottled underneath coloring seen in flight. One perched in tree at end of dike, Here again, larger than other swallows, looked similar to tree swallow, probably an immature Purple Martin. We could see beginning of purple blue feathers on upper wings. Have some photos.
