YES! A bird I’ve been chasing for 20 years, including several times at River Point. A true nemesis. Bird in hand when I arrived and released after a few moments. Gave a flight call and dove into the goldenrod, never to be seen again (if that’s not normal behavior I don’t know what is). Many thanks to the River Point BRI crew including Lauren, Ed, Peter, Patrick, Alex and others. Thanks to Doug for breaking the jinx with his video this week - my next nemesis is Great Gray Owl if you wanna do a video on that too.
