**rare | detected by its liquid 3 note call as I spotted it coming in from the north. Locked on it as it came directly over me, did a 180 and took off NNE. Large shorebird with a long profile, large pinkish bill, prominent eyering and heavily mottled underwing. Not at all the day that I would expect to bag an upi with clear skies and minimal winds. Nonetheless, what an absolute dream bird to get in MF at the house.
