Continuing. Had an adult briefly over the tree line to the east at about 8:40am. Ten minutes later in the same direction six kites circled up in a tight kettle and slowly drifted SE in the direction of the Cape Cod Canal after a minute or two. Medium-sized, slender hawks showing narrow, pointed wings and graceful/smooth flight. A little too distant to determine ages. Spent close to another hour there with no other sightings.
