I’iwi feeding on the flowers of the critically endangered Hana (Bellflower) Cyanea Shipmani, one of only a very few which have been recently out-planted from the nursery. As Cyanea Shipmani only blooms once a year, this may be among the first published photos of an I’iwi on blooming Cyanea in the wild.
