Found by Jeff and Janet as they were leaving. Jeff came back to the group of us waiting for the Pacific Loon to return and said they think they have a Black Scoter mixed in with some Scaup. When we found the group of Scaup, I immediately noticed a larger mostly brown duck. Matt put his scope on the bird when I looked at the bird I saw it was a female Black Scoter with its Brown body, dark cap and pale cheeks. Photos.
