Inherently challenging audio clip. Two TUVU were flushed from roadkilled deer, and perched for a bit while hissing to each other. I could watch their beaks open and shut as they vocalized. Distance ~20'. Seconds 8, 15, etc. Later in the clip, some wind-rustled leaves are audible and mask the TUVUs.

観察結果の詳細

Faintly audible hissing calls between two indidividuals that I flushed from a deer carcass down the bank from the Long Pond Road. They were both hissing before they decided to fly deeper into the woods.
