観察結果の詳細

First seen above Skirt Mtn. Large dark bird with long wings, soaring. Later seen perched, preening in a tall snag on the side of the Mtn visible from the boardwalk on Ed Nixon Trail. Got good looks through the scope. Dark brown very large bird with a lighter brown head. Seen by about 13 of us and after much discussion we decided on golden eagle. My pictures are bad as it was too far away for my lens.
