Another Noah spot. Flew into the flats here (36.067519,-78.802841) from the NE with a couple Killdeer. Circled briefly then touched down in the water and chilled for long enough for us all to hug & high-five before buggering off. I prematurely called it a Wilson's Phalarope without actually taking a minute to carefully evaluate the bird because I'm a fraud and suck at birding. Sorry for the false alarm 😞 Anyway, feast your eyes on my terrible pictures.
