Poor recording due to wind, human voices, and distance, but, the Whimbrels called while standing in the water, then lifted off during this recording and continued to call (you can hear one human saying "There they go!"

観察結果の詳細

One flock at the Southport mudflat, not foraging, just standing into the wind when I arrived. Previously reported. The flock called out for about a minute, then flew away after 9:44. Large brown shorebirds with very long curved bills and striped heads. Several birders here at the same time.
