Grunt series in first fragment, a couple of squeaks in the second.

Responded strongly to tape after sunset, came in very close and was visible. Mostly swimming! Gave a couple of calls - sound-recorded. In the far NE corner of the impoundment with the Bitterns (this impoundment is marked as "Flat River A1" on the map at the parking), at 36.12499, -78.82666.
