NOTES: Mid-elevation humid yungas forest. MS stereo recording of Saltator aurantiirostris. This was extracted from LNS 129786 at the 5:30 mark. Microphones were placed on the ground attempting to record Serpophaga munda. The Saltator flew in, unseen, and gave these songs at a time when the Serpophaga was rather quiet. Recording made above camp and contains many birds in the dawn chorus. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Deciduous Forest, Second-growth, Edge.
