NOTES: Calls of pair moving constantly as they foraged from nearly ground level to 3 m up in forest understory over stream along Sendero Palo Gordo about 150 m above stream crossing; birds were moving quickly through forest undergrowth on slope, at times with other birds in a small mixed-species flock; recorded after some ÒspishingÓ to which response was minimal; weather same [clouding up, calm, 60¡ F]. Response to playback: No response. Other Behaviors: Mate, Social Context: Mixed. Habitat: Cloudforest, Evergreen Forest, Stream.
