NOTES: SWAMPY WOODS. HIGH WHISTLES; 'SCHL R...' SOUNDS (GURGLY). MALE(S); FEMALE(S)? LNS Note: Unbroken cut with internal recordist announcement/handling noise gain change (MJA, 14Feb2005). BNA: [These songs appear to alternate between two distinct song-types. Unlike the dichotomy pictured in Figure 2 of the BNA account, the songs in this recording either have or completely lack pure tones. Most of these lack pure tones, with those that have them beginning at 0:00, 0:09, 0:33, 0:37, 0:43, and 0:52. The text of the account is too weak to assess whether this is the true dichotomy in this species' songs, but the spectrograms that I have examined so far suggest that there is far more here than the subtle distinction between songs beginning with pure tones or not. Quality changed from 3-2 to 2 - CAM - 19 January 2005]. Habitat: Forest.
