Follow-up on earlier reports. Presumed first winter male perched on roofline on Capen St East. Unusual inland. No public parking nearby. Talked to campus police officer in the lot outside Miller Hall to give him a heads up on likely birders. Said he'll be watching for double-parking or other blocked movements. No guarantee other officers will be obliging. "Improved lifer" after only sorta-kinda seeing one last year in grasses on Hicks Island, Napeague (https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/628367602).
