I am confident that were at least 3 male AMKEs seen from Hawk Hill today because I saw all of them simultaneously. There definitely was a high level of AMKE activity today; probably 32 sightings. I am trying to balance and not double-count where possible. So for example, if I saw a male heading North and lost it against hill under the 'glass house' and then saw a Southbound bird rise up from the same location 2 minutes later, I did not record it twice. So 17 seems like a reasonable number.
