I arrived at the parking lot at 0945 and immediately noted small kettles of migrating Turkey Vultures riding thermals and passing overhead toward the south-south-east. It was a simple matter to count and write down the number of each group as it passed. The flock size ranged from 2-28 birds. At about 1040 the sky clouded over and no further flocks appeared.
