NOTES: (General Climate: dry; Cover Density: thick) [The first two parts of this recording contain seven examples of the "Chick-a-dee" Call of BNA. Most examples contain only C-notes or B-notes and C-notes combined; only the last call (at 0:32, with zero point at beginning of recording) contains all three note-types. Scattered throughout the first two parts are calls like the soft, lisping "sip" described in BNA account for Baeolophus inornatus/ridgwayi but not mentioned in BNA account for this species. Quality changed from 2-3 to 2 (a bit of wind/water noise but otherwise good) - CAM - 1 April 2005]. Response to playback: Approach. Habitat: Forest, Creek, Riparian, Canyon.
