adult; Nice looks though brief since head was tucked and sleeping 95% of the time but massive blocky head, thick bill, dark mantle at least a shade darker than LBB, short primary projection, and pink legs. In photos you can see how size of head and body are much bulkier than surrounding Herring gulls. Got up and walked briefly to see legs.
