Exact 1 by 1 count of a huge flock sitting in the shallows near the mud island with other gulls and terns. Small gulls with dark hoods, tiny bills, dark gray backs and wings, strong eye arcs. In flight birds showed white spots on the wing tips with limited black in the primaries compared to LAGU. Wind and light were a bit hard to work with but we didn’t get on any suspects for LAGU. State high!!
