Seen early morning on both sides of the second barrier north of the Willow bridge; we are basing our ID on the shorter, stouter bill than on Red-necked Phalarope, the solid gray feathers molting in on the back and the location on an inland lake or river after a storm. We are awaiting feedback from others on our ID.
