One of two birds calling on the ground

פרטי השורה

A pair in an insalubrious habitat afforded very good views, photographed by all. Both birds appeared unusually pale which may have been just light/ unusual habitat, but one bird did not show any warmish blush on the sides of the upper breast. However, photos show both birds have warm wash on the belly/vent and recording of call of at least one bird fits with the trrup call for Mongolian vs Greater STL
