Soaring in open uncharacteristically, square tail obvious with broad base to secondaries supportive. My only photos of a Collared Sparrowhawk from the Katherine region with maybe a handful of birds observed in a 3 year period. An exceedingly scarce bird in area and broadly in Top End to the point of being rare.
