Five minutes before I got to the point, they lost sight of it. An hour later while I was scanning the group, it just appeared! Seconds later, everything flushed but thankfully it came back and we had fantastic views both of it flying and on the sand. It started grooming while we were watching it but I never saw it forage. Medium size tern with tufted back feathers on back/side of head. Black bill with yellow tip. Long walk but worth every minute of it.
