Single long-tailed slender parrot preening after a bathe in the dam. Front-on red face seen well through the bins. When flying away, red underwing coverts & undertail coverts were very noticeable. Frustratingly, every photo from phone camera showed bird preening & features obscured, especially the head. Small features in every photo did verify the i.d. of this bird. Observed by both of us from different angles. Closest views ever. Yeh.
