Continuing. Found lone male. Larger than nearby Hooded Mergansers, flanks gray, not all white like male Common Merganser. Bill long, narrow, orange. Head dark green, throat with distinct white collar, breast a light brown at the front changing to dark brown toward the side and shoulder area, back with large white splash running from shoulder back to near the rump. Will upload photo.
