Sunning itself by spreading out its wing and tail feathers

Fantastic looks at one preening, and it appeared to be sunning itself. After a bit of preening it held both its right wing (which it had just preened), and its tail feathers spread out for 20+ seconds. Have a video of this behavior. I camped out in his territory for a while, and he'd disappear for a few minutes before showing again
