Noisy water pump

Détails de l'observation

I heard the calls of this bird from the house, and walked out to try to locate it. I found it still calling in tall ficus trees in a side callejón. The calls matched Yellow-bellied/Acadian Flycatcher, but I've never been able to separate them by vocalizations only, as their calls are very similar during migration. The bird was constantly calling but perched very high all the time, so I only saw the underparts. The belly and flanks were whitish, and the throat and breast looked mostly whitish as well. The undertail coverts were contrastingly pale yellow. The lower mandible looked pinkish with a darker tip. The tail was even in length (not cleft) and pretty wide. The bird was flicking its tail. I made a noisy recording with Merlin when I was still not too close to the bird and this is the recording that I uploaded (Merlin did not offer any suggestions, target sound too weak). Then, when I was closer to the target sound I obtained a better recording. This recording was much longer, and I could see that Merlin suggested "Mosquero Verdoso", Acadian Flycatcher as the topmost species. However I did not see the other suggested species, and Merlin can't be trusted for such an ID anyway. Surprisingly, this recording totally disappeared; I never stopped it, but when I looked again it was not visible anymore as an ongoing recording, however Sound ID was still running in the top menu and could not been stopped. The recording was not there at all in the list of my recordings. Maybe it was too long and this caused the issues? Bug?
