male singing (e.g., at 6s and 11s on audio recording, got a little bit closer as the recoding advances) for a few minutes, then seen in flight while crossing the road (big white supercilium, Zoothera underwing pattern) where it seems to interact briefly with the female before leaving; female seen perched on tree from behind but face visible; dull brown thrush with plain back, whitish supercilium, fairly short bill, brown ear coverts with large white auricular patch.
