This is a followup of my recording made at the same location on April 2, 1977 when this colony was re-establishing itself for this year's breeding season. This recording has begging cris of young of three different ages and a few squawks from adults. Birds are nesting in tall cottonwoods about 135 feet above the ground. General climate: Wet. Cover density: Medium. ML: Unbroken cut with handling noise gain change. Other Behaviors: Mate, Establish Parent Young Contact, Beg, Perform Nest Relief, Social Context: Colony. Habitat: River. Elevation: 334 m.
