Détails de l'observation
Continuing. 4M 4F. Seen in multiple spots along the river about .5 miles south of the bridge. They mostly stuck together, and they were very skittish. Flushed multiple times, moving only small amounts down the river before landing again. When they landed, they would be quite static, diving and sitting in a single spot on the river until flushed again. Males had crescent-shaped white patches in front of eye, deep blue iridescent heads, and a good amount of black patterning in wings. Females were otherwise drab with bright orange bills. Photos.
