ML: Unbroken cut with internal recordist announcement gain change. BNA: Three different calls are given here. The "horn-like" toots given thoughout the early part of the recording (0:04-1:00) may be the Perturbation Calls described in BNA account, if indeed they were given by Fulica americana and not Gallinula chloropus (though I suspect that they were given by a coot). The harsher, more nasal calls at 0:45-0:54 were definitely given by Fulica, but it is unclear whether they are Alarm Calls or Warning Calls. Finally, there is a series of what appear to be Recognition Calls at 1:01-1:06. (CAM - 9 March 2005).
