NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial paired. Gen. Climate: Dry. Cover Density: Medium.) [This appears to be a call of Selasphorus platycercus NOT Archilochus alexandri (which I suspect does not occur at Rustler Park) - CAM - 9 November 2004] This cut was originally identified as Archilochus alexandri, but was changed after CAM-- see above. - MJA, 22 July 2005. Response to playback: Different song. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Montane Grassland.
