EXTINCT. COA Archives; Zeranski and Baptist Pg. 116. "Apparently, the last record for Connecticut was a specimen taken on Sept. 12, 1889, at the Quinnipiac marshes, New Haven, by E. Munson (SMNC No. 46.87.56). Submitted by Frank Gallo. sage and Biship state it was a male. Pg 64.
