Nesting Southern Giant Petrels with large chicks. Southern Giant Petrels (Macronectes giganteus) are both scavengers and predators. The Falkland Islands is one of their breeding strongholds. This small rookery is on Cape Dolphin on East Falkland Island. Elevation: 7 m. Date added to IBC: February 11, 2019.
