Continuing its fourth day at this location. Third California record. Actively feeding on the lawn and bare dirt under some trees for half of the duration of our stay, the other half hidden and invisible as it had scampered under bushes. Always observed on the ground, never in flight. As it walked its tail frequently bobbed up and down. Photos.
