Continuing juvenile. Very confiding on west shore of main lagoon. Beautiful tawny shorebird, larger than the nearby Snowy and Semipalmated Plovers. Foraging on mudflats in and among the other shorebirds; primarily LESA, SEPL, and SNPL. Stayed still and crouched on mudflats, and the bird would forage within 20-30 feet of my location. Amazing looks and pictures, but too active for video (I made a poor attempt).
