Call at 3 seconds and again at 28.5 s. Response sounds in plastic stage not as polished. A complex flight/contact call heard many times by several individuals. A lyrical, buzzy and lengthy call. Call begins with quick frequency modulation (buzz) I believe there perhaps is evidence of nonlinear phenomena (irregularities in the vibration of vocal folds in syrinx) that can cause the sound to be rough...showing as bi-phonation (two independent voices, polyphony...vocal folds that are not synchronized and are vibrating at two different frequencies) and side banding. The 2nd audio is the same call slowed to 0.070 s. and makes it easier for us to hear the frequency modulations and complexity of this flight call.
