My inclination was to go for an even bigger number but you get the idea. Busy feeding in upper reaches of a tree on Quarry Road.Merlin confirmed ID by voice but with my diminished hearing I heard nothing. The flock allowed me enough time to go to my car and get a scope to confirm the black chin patch on a small streaky finch.
