Continuing rarity at Lake Crabtree. Viewable from the MetLife clearing. Among a large group of Cormorants and Ring Bill Gulls. Long slightly drooping black bill. Immature plumage. Black smudging by the nape, and half white crescents above and below the dark eye. Back is transitioning from brown to gray/black. Legs are black. Photo to be added.
