Adult roosting in Rhododendron arboreum. Very tolerant of human disturbance ( people laughing, pointing and talking). Apart from shuffling to get a better view of us trying to get a better view of it, it didn't shift position, nor did it appear th be particularly alarmed. The tree in which the bird was roosting is only about 10 m from the house. Apparently, it normally roosts in an avocado tree (confirm by a plate-sized splatter of faeces on the ground below its perch). This tree edge was even closer to the house, around 5 m. Clearly, this bird is not concerned about human presence.
