Detalles de la observación
Spotted by Bill Deppe as we meandered through the wooded area just east of the two silos. An apparent Juvenile bird, more slender than what I'm used to seeing of later Fall vagrants. At a distance, this bird initially struck me as a pewee, with it's distinct vest and upright stature, however that quickly fell apart after seeing the frequent tail pumping. Tail movement appeared to be both an up and down motion. The bird hunted insects, always staying at eye level or below. All black bill, dark face, yellow-white throat broken by an extensive vest. yellow-white belly. Forked tail.
