Beobachtungsdetails

One individual picked up at about 25m out from the boat. Seen briefly before disappearing. Returned again but still not coming close. A black and white Storm-Petrel slightly smaller than numerous nearby Wilson’s Storm-Petrels. Broad pale whitish underwing coverts greyer distally. Extensive white lower chest and belly with notable black streaking extending from black hood to undertail coverts. Actively feeding. Seen several times over a short period before being lost to view. Well photographed by some on board.
