Continuation of bird first noted by Nathaniel Watkins on 12/11/2023. I am embarrassed by how easy it was to find: sitting so close to the trail that I almost stepped on it before I noticed it. I backed off a ways before taking a photo, but I practically could have touched it. Didn't strike me as a healthy wild bird, but I'm no expert.
