We were thinking at the time we were looking at an imm. Shikra, but when eBird flagged my uploaded photo as a Besra, I investigated further. Seems the more streaky breast spots, a slightly forked tail, and the well defined undertail bars of equal widths (when compared to the terminal bar) fit Besra better.
