Media notes
NOTES: General climate: DRY; SINK HOLE AREA IN SEMI-DESERT REGION. VARIOUS CALLS AND SONG. BIRDS FLYING RATHER LOW AFTER HAVING JUST COME OUT OF SINK HOLE. LOUDEST SONGS NEAR END OF CUT. [There are many birds here, so it is difficult to differentiate many of the vocalizations. Most of this appears to represent the clear "weet" or "cheweet" chatter described in BNA. I was also able to differentiate what appear to be "che" notes at 2:265, 3:20, 3:255, 3:27, 3:285, and 12:16; a song at 3:41-3:44; and what I believe is the lower-pitched "choo" call at 2:295, 3:07, 4:37, 5:115, and 11:24. Quality changed from 2-1 to 1-2, 2-1 (nothing else mixed-in but signal is quite low for most of this) - CAM - 26 January 2005].
